Arriving to Tampere
By plane
There are no direct flight connections from other Nordic countries to Tampere-Pirkkala airport. However, airBaltic offers flights to Tampere with a transfer in Riga, Latvia.
From airport you can either rent a car, pick a taxi or travel to Tampere city center by bus. See Tampere-Pirkkala airport web pages for more information.
Please note that available return flights from Tampere-Pirkkala are very limited during Sunday.
An alternative for flying to Tampere is to fly instead to Helsinki airport and then travel from there to Tampere. There are several airlines flying directly from other Nordic countries to Helsinki, including Finnair, SAS and airBaltic.

By train or bus
There are several train and bus connections per day to Tampere from all major Finnish cities:

If you wish to use public transport to reach the school accommodation after arriving in Tampere, we recommend taking a local train from the Tampere Railway Station to Tesoma Station.
